Senior Python Engineer - Full Stack, JavaScript, React

We are searching for a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer with React experience for an award-winning technology-driven business.

The Senior Python Engineer will work on one of the client's main customer facing platforms in which design, interactions and usability are of critical importance, using a React front-end and a Python back-end. In this team, you will need to continually improve tech, testing strategy and deployment processes. Due to how central this Python application is to the business, you will need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the solution is developed to the highest standards.

This Senior Full Stack Python Engineer will work in an agile environment that values high quality software engineering, agile practices, user experience embedded into the most modern APIs.

You will ideally have experience through the whole development lifecycle in both Python and React, having designed and implemented focused APIs, services and user interfaces. You will:
Have excellent coding standards both in JavaScript React and Python
Work within an agile team
Favour quality, performance and security of the client's platform
Design protocols and interfaces in client & server-side components
Write automated tests - unit, integration and functional
Participate in pair programming and reviews
Sustain the high standards of the team
Work towards eliminating technical debt
Recommend actions and tools for continuous improvement
Be eager to solve complex business problems across the company Your profile
Excellent experience of Python and JavaScript React frameworks
Be an expert in your field, not be overly dependent on tools, technologies or methodologies
Used to Git and common workflows
Passion for writing clean, testable and efficient code
