Rate £300 - £400 per day depending on experience
Minimum Baseline Security clearance is required
Previous experience working with Government Digital Services is a must for this role.
The successful Python Developer will be working on the UK Government’s Performance Platform.
Performance platform is a tool that gives the UK Government the data to make better decisions about the services it provides to the UK public.
The successful candidate will work alongside the delivery manager, product manager, content designer, user researcher and performance analysts.
AS a Python Developer you will be involved in maintaining the current Performance Platform (Built in Python). You will also work on building our new Performance Product, providing input into the architecture and coding options for the new product whilst also working with the Architect & Tecnology Lead to improve and iterate the design - picking up stories to start the build of the new product and deliver incremental improvements, which are fully tested, into the live environment and building a product for the launch of the private Beta.
To be considered for this Python Developer position you must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence for the the following:

Experience in collaborating closely with colleagues in order to meet users’ needs
Experience in front-end and/or back-end development, with detailed knowledge of programming language; Python, including Flask and Django
Experience of developing in Mongo, PostGreSQL, Node. Please support your answer with examples
Experience of developing/operating a PaaS with Cloudfoundry
Experienced in working in an agile Multidisciplinary team and to Government Digital Standards
