Java/Spring Boot/Microservices Developer - Potentially Long-term!
Our client are a large, prestigious organisation who have a significant number of projects. They are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their team who has previous strong experience with microservices and Spring Boot.
They are laos seeking a developer who casn think outside the boix to solve problems and has worked with more modern Java frameworks such Kubernetes and GWT and not just Spring MVC.
This is initially a 6 month contract which may be extended for the right person. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and assist with migrating and re-architecting Legacy applications to an OpenShift internal platform and develop software solutions in Java. To be considered for this role you will be an experienced Java Developer with experience of working within a public sector environment and will be able to provide demonstrable experience OOAD concepts and techniques including the use of UML in designing IT solutions. You will also extensive experience of coding in Java, ideally in an Agile environment.
To be considered for this role you should ideally have the following skill set:
Strong Java development skills
Experience of working with recent Java frameworks such as Kubernetes, GWT, Struts 2, etc
